TriNewaShield Primer (Epoxy)
A two-pack, low VOC, high-build mastic surface tolerant epoxy primer reinforced with chemically inert pigment. Suitable for application on manually cleaned steel surfaces, providing enhanced durability and corrosion resistance in all corrosive environments — including splash zones of offshore structures. Also ideal for maintenance coating of dry cargo holds, hulls, and decks with excellent overcoating compatibility on aged coatings.

Surface Preparation:
- Steel surface must be clean, dry, and free from
- Recommended to apply suitable primer before use.
- Conforms to ISO 8504:2000.
- Can be applied after Hand & Power tool cleaning to St2 & St3.
Application Details
- Method: Airless spray, conventional spray; brush/roller for touch ups
- Mixing ratio: 4 parts base : 1 part accelerator
- Pot life: 2–4 hours
- Recommended dry film thickness (DFT): 100–150 microns
- Thinner: Use approved thinner (e.g., Thinner 6756)
- Drying time: Touch dry: 4–6 hours | Hard dry: 18–24 hours | Full cure: 7 days
- Overcoating interval: Min 18 hours; max: indefinite
- Storage: Up to 12 months in sealed containers under standard conditions
